Paradise Lost Tarot Cards Series 1

An ongoing series of tarot cards designed to promote my Paradise Lost book illustration project. These cards are not literal portrayals of the book, but rather, convey the themes of the story along with lines from the text. These cards explore themes of lost innocence, betrayal, repentance, revenge, and obedience vs free will. The hellish creatures shown are of my own design and are not specifically mentioned in the book. The media is a combination of traditional pen and ink (micron pens) along with some digital refinement and coloring.
